Paediatric Bladder and Bowel Care Service (Formerly Continence Service)

The Children’s Bladder and Bowel Care Service is a community based team of experienced nurses and a nursery nurse.

We provide specialist assessments, support and advice for children and young people with Bladder and/or bowel problems.

We see children from 12 months of age until 17 years of age.

Children with special needs are seen until 19 years of age if still in the education system.

Educational and training sessions are provided

Who can access the service?

Any child or young person with a Warrington GP.

How can people access the service?

Children/young people can be referred by anyone to the service as long as there is parental consent.

Parents can self-refer their child.

Referrals can be made by completing our referral form.

On completion of referral form please Fax or post it to us.

Referrals will also be taken by telephone.
